Records of Stoddard International plc, Design Archive, Turkey

This material is held atUniversity of Glasgow Archive Services

Scope and Content

A selection of medium sized design sketches and design patterns from the 20th century. Though described as 'Turkey', designs feature mainly floral and seemingly Persian patterns, though Turkey could of course refer here to the colour rather than the geographical origins of the designs, as many, but not all, are distinctively red. There are designs by, amongst others, Mayers and Woodhouse of Kidderminster and most items feature design names and numbers.

This description is part of the Design Archive  which is divided into the 142 sections, each with its own separate description.
