Scope and Content

Comprises typescripts of ca. 46 poems by 35 poets, most of which were published in the Times Literary Supplement between 1962 and 1967. Most of the typescripts have manuscript editorial markings.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Times Literary Supplement was founded in 1902 as a supplement to the The Times. It is a British scholarly weekly review, principally of newly published books, and is important for the completeness of its coverage. The poet Ian Hamilton was its Fiction and Poetry Editor from 1965 to 1973.
