Includes certificates from the Province of Ontario and Connaught Training School for Nurses, confirming that Nichols had qualified to become a registered nurse in 1936, black and white portrait photographs of Nichols, correspondence relating to the photographs.

Administrative / Biographical History

A friend of Gladys Sawyer (nurse at St. James's Hospital), Lily Nichols trained to become a nurse at The Connaught Training School for Nurses, in affiliation with Toronto General Hospital and Riverdale Isolation Hospital, qualifying in 1936. The collection contains her certificates, together with portrait photographs.
