Scope and Content

115 x 89 mm. Taken during the Queen's tour of the Pacific. There is a handwritten caption on the reverse explaining the occasion:
'H.M. the Queen standing, reading her speech in reply to the Colony's Loyal Address. Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna, having presented this to her is now seated on a bench along L.H. side wall with throne to be decorated at the investiture to follow. A table carrying the decorations will be seen slightly to L. of H.M., and in front of Sir Ronald Garvey.'
