Scope and Content

Draft documents etc. concerning the establishment of a Trust for building St Asaph Grammar School, co. Denb., together with two coloured hand drawn plans of Penllan Farm where the school was built, 1876/7. Documents connected with restoration work etc on the parish church at Rhosmedre, co. Denb., including a very fine plan by the architect W. H. Spaull of Oswestry, 1888/9. Documents concerning an extension to the churchyard at Ruabon, co. Denb., including two fine plans on linen showing most of the village, one of these is signed as approved by a Secretary of State at Whitehall, 1905/7. Documents concerning the erection of a monument in the churchyard at Llanfechain, co. Denb., including a large drawing by the architect Hy Jones of Southport, dated 1909. Documents concerning an extension to the churchyard at Chirk, co. Denb., including a hand drawn plan, dated 1938. Documents concerning the Redemption of Tithes in Prestatyn and Meliden, co. Denb., with a considerable correspondence with the Land Office etc and a coloured map on linen, dated 1887. And also a considerable number of documents concerning the Redemption of Tithes in Rhuddlan, co. Flint, 1892-1895.
