Whereas John Sigor of Writell is bound to John Brakely of the same and Jane his wife in a certain sum to be paid by a certain date; John Brakely and Jane his wife grant that if Emmota wife of John Sigor survive him and within three days of his death release to John and Jane Brakeley her claim to a certain messuage in Writell, then the obligation shall be void; otherwise it shall remain in effect. Witnesses: William Smart, William Parker, Robert Friday. Part of the seal remains.
