Administrative / Biographical History

Henry Williams (fl. 1879-1890) farmed at Cefn Emrys, Llandwrog, Caernarfonshire. He was the father-in-law of Thomas Hughes (fl. 1900-1948), of Bachwen (Bach Wen) farm, Clynnog-fawr, Caernarfonshire. Thomas' son, David Arthur Hughes ([1897]-[c. 1982]) also farmed at Bachwen, moving to Ynysfa, Llanwnda, in about 1974. Both Thomas and David Hughes were members and elders of Ebenezer Calvinistic Methodist Chapel, Clynnog-fawr.
