Scope and Content

Robert Godfrey, glover, of Newmarket, Suffolk, for £70 paid by Christopher Webb, of Isleham, yeoman, have granted and sold to him a parcel of land called the New Millhill and one Wyndmill thereupon...situate in the fields of Dylton Valens, Cambridge, between the lands belonging to Trinity Hall, Cambridge, on E. and lands sometimes of [Christfer?] Funston [Frinston?] of Newmarkett, W., the College lands on S. and N. upon the highway from Newmarket to Dullingham, which lands R. Godfrey lately purchased of Henry Disborowe, miller, late of Newmarket, on 29 July 1622. Signed by Robert Godfrey. Witnessed by Roger [Jackson?], other name illegible [? Webb].
