Scope and Content

Adam Rikener of Barneton' [Barton?, Cambridgeshire] confirms his gift to Richard Fraunceys of Wynepol [Wimpole, Cambridgeshire] of a selion of arable land lying in the field of Orwell, against Southdene, between the land of John Duraunt and land of the said Adam, abutting upon the highway leading to Wimpole. Deed poll, witnessed by Lawrence ?Writteworye, William Faber de Orwell, John Staci, Richard Bonum, Robert son of Saresson, and others. Fragment of tagged seal. Endorsed in later hand: '16 E 3 Orwell'. Original holes and thin points in parchment.
