Administrative / Biographical History

Lev Platonovich Karsavin (1882-1952) was a prominent Russian philosopher and a member of the post-revolutionary Russian migr communities in Berlin, Paris and Lithuania. He was arrested by the Soviet authorities in Lithuania during the Second World War and perished in a labour camp
