Scope and Content

Robert Viscount Yarmouth releases to Thomas Browne and Thomas Leman of London certain property and lands in the above parishes, in consideration of a sum of £2150. By indentures of lease and released dated 18th and 19th June 1674 the lands in question, bequeathed by Sir William Paston to Margarett eldest daughter of Viscount Yarmouth, were released to the use of Thomas Browne and Thomas Leman. They were to be reconveyed to Viscount Yarmouth on repayment by him of a certain borrowed sum, which had not been paid. They had since lent a further sum. On the payment of the three loans with interest within a year the lands are to be reconveyed. Witnessed by Peter Clayton and William Millett.
