At the back of the volume is a contemporary index.
A letter from the Public Record Office to L.V.D. Owen, professor of history at University College Nottingham, dated 31 January 1948, is inserted into the front of the volume and relates to records of the Honour of Peveril in the Augmentation Office (MS 65/2).
