Administrative / Biographical History

The Welsh Agricultural Organisation Society was founded in 1922 to promote and develop agricultural and horticultural co-operation. It seeks to provide business and marketing services to farmer-controlled businesses and cooperatives in Wales. It is based in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion.

Arrangement

A schedule of the records retained at the N. L. W. is available in the searchroom. There is no clear division of subject matter between files, where there is more than one for each organisation. The Welsh Agricultural Organisation Society file reference number is given in brackets after the description.
