A selection of large sketches, all from the early to mid 19th century and Persian in style, titled 'Painted and Mounted Persian Tradition II'. A number are copies of carpets owned by the Victoria and Albert Museum, some are design outlines only partially painted, and a couple are described as being 'fragments' of persian carpets. All are mounted on heavyweight hardboard and can be related to Drawers 102, 130, 131 and 132, which also contained Persian designs.
This description is part of the Design Archive which is divided into the 142 sections, each with its own separate description.
