Scope and Content

The general order book of the Fife coastguard.

Being a letter book of orders issued from Elie [Fife], Lt Henry Randall RN, commanding officer, to officers of the coastguard at St Andrews, Lt H Cox, Crail [Fife] and Kingsbarns [Fife] between 17 October 1831 and 6 December 1833. Some material relates to maritime matters affecting Anstruther [Fife]. Occasional [circular] letters from the Board of Admiralty.
