At the Court Leet, Court Baron and Customary held by the Master and Fellows and Scholars of Christs' College, Cambridge, lords of the Manor, George Kent and Alexander Dickonson, two customary tenants, come and present that George Wright in their presence did surrender one rood of land w. appurtenances abutting on the street, S., on a pasture called the Haven close on N. and on lands of Thomas Dixon on E. to the use of John Smith and Elizabeth his wife, to whom the Lord by James Lane, gent., steward did grant the land. They paid a fine of 6d and were admitted. Signed by James Lane, steward.
