Whereas Andrew Kilborne of Old Newton, deceased, by his will dated 13 September 1669 bequeathed to Sarah Kilborne his wife for life certain property in Wetherden, and declared that one portion of this property not so devised was to be sold within one year of the death of Anne his mother and that the rest was to be sold if his wife refused the bequest; and whereas Sarah Kilborne refused the estate for life; now Sarah Kilborne, John Eastlinge of Old Newton, Robert Raynbred of Wyverston and John Kilborne, eldest son and heir of Andrew Kilborne, appointed by the will to sell the property, sell to William Raffe of Wetherden the aforesaid property which Andrew Kilborne had by the will of his father William Kilborne dated 8 October 1636 and proved 7 May 1644, and which William Kilborne, eldest son of William Kilborne, had released to Andrew Kilborne by deed dated 30 April 1644; certain copyhold land in Wetherden is also sold, which Andrew Kilborne had 4 June 1623 of the surrender of Benedict Rushbrooke, and certain copyhold in the same which Andrew Kilborne had 11 June 1648.
