This archive covers research material collected by W.H. (Bill) Martin and Sandra Mason on the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. The material relates primarily to the history of publication and translation of the poem, and the stimulus this gave to related artistic and musical works. Data was mostly collected between 2000 and 2010. There is a particular emphasis on the versions of the poem produced by Edward FitzGerald, but versions by other translators are also covered. Research using the archive material was published in various forms as listed in the collection.
