Scope and Content

In consideration of an unspecified sum, William B[aggott] of Wisbeche [Wisbech], Cambridgeshire, glover, confirms to Gabriel [Neave] of Wisbech, yeoman, a tenement with garden in the 'Olde Markett', Wisbech, abutting on the street with that name to the north, and on land lately belonging to Henry London to the south, which property Baggott holds by virtue of a gift made by Thomas Trewe of the Borough of St Peter's, Northamptonshire, clothworker, dated 18 Nov 7 James I. Deed poll, signed by 'William Bagott'. Tag and seal wanting. Endorsed with faded certificate of livery of seisin (?). Further endorsed 'Cambridge No 19'.
