Administrative / Biographical History
William Duthie was born at Vulcan Croft Smithy in 1866 where his father was the blacksmith, before moving to Nether Corskie around 1878. He farmed there until moving to Upper Corskie at the age of 50, living and working there until his death , aged 89, in 1955.
