The collection consists of :
Album of 50 mounted photographs, bound in parchment with gold tooling presented to C.R. King, general manager of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Electric Power Company at the time when the design for Staythorpe 'A' was conceived. The images cover the period from the initial planning of the power station, through its construction to its eventual operation. They include photographs of the site and of the interior of the power station; 1944-1950. (MS 835/1)
