Indenture. Thomas Sampeforde of Much Waltham, Essex, and Henry Butte of Ingatestone sell to Gregory Shettelworth of Writtle certain land in Wrytell, to him and his heirs for ever to the use of him and his heirs for ever, free of all incumbrances except a lease made by Thomas Sampeforde to John Glascocke of Wrytell for a term of seven years dated 10 May 1587. Witnesses: Richard Raynolds, ?Artenwolde Smythe, John Glascocke, Stephen Same?, Henry Welde.
