Scope and Content

Gaskell's account of his efforts in founding the University Bibliographical Press, and then records of its work ('Journal of the Press'). Account references documents (numbered DP1, DP2 and DP3) that do not appear to be present in this work. Volume has press cuttings, letters, photographs affixed, with an appendix 'check-list of pamphlets etc printed at the Water Lane press' inserted.
