Formerly enclosed in The Life of Nelson by Robert Southey 2nd edition (1814), call-mark: C4.1 [Nelson-Southey]. The covers of this extra-illustrated copy of the Life are of oak boards with a copper plate, all from Nelson's flagship the Foudroyant . Given by Mr J.H. Bijl in 1963.
