Trustee and Vice-chairman of Neath branch of RSPCA. 20 years in Toc. H. Movement. Member of St. John in Wales. Personnel officer for Baglan Engineering Company, Melyn Works, Neath, Glamorgan. Member of Institute of Welfare Officers and Institute of Work Study Practitioners. County Councillor (Neath North Ward) Glamorgan County Council 1967-1974 (Neath Citizens' and Ratepayers' Guild); JP Glamorgan 1971; Borough Councillor 1976-1979; Neath Community Councillor 1974-1983; chairman of Neath Community Council 1980/1
