Administrative / Biographical History
Enoch Gronow (1858-1941) was the South Wales agent for Renton & Fisher Ltd and an Associate Member of the Institution of British Engineers. The family owned several properties in Cardiff, namely in Clive Road, Albert Street, Wellington Street and Corporation Road.
Margaret A Short (née Gronow), Enoch Gronow's daughter, was born c. 1889. She married Frank A Short in 1918. Following Enoch's death in 1941, Mrs Short was responsible for maintaining the family's property and collecting rent from their tenants. Mrs Short died in 1979.
