Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Richard Thomas Propert Williams (fl. 1908), solicitor, and his son, George Edgar Propert Williams (fl. 1900-1961), solicitor, of Penbryn, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, appeared to be descended from the Thomas, Howell, Propert and Williams families. The Propert, and later Williams, families lived at Hendre Eynon, St Davids, Pembrokeshire, with branches in Swansea, Glamorgan, and in Leicestershire. The Rev. T. Thomas (fl. 1789-1824) of Farndon, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, was a friend or relative of the family.
