Administrative / Biographical History

The Forest School Camps were formed in the tradition of original Forest School which dated from 1929 until the Second World War. Formed in 1947, it is a Registered Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee whose purpose is the promotion of holidays and outdoor activities for children and young people.

Access Information

Prior written permission from the depositor is required for access to the 1977 deposit. No restriction apply to the 2002 deposit.

Acquisition Information

The initial deposit was made in 1977 by the Forest School Camps. A further deposit was made in 2002 by a private individual.
