A 'Charm Book' from the east coast of the Malaysian peninsula, The manuscript has the date of 1324 AH (1906 CE) written in a different hand. On European paper, it is foliated in a European style, with folio 1 being in fact on the last folio of the manuscript. Written and probably compiled by Haji Hasan L.nd.ng for the owner Tuan Bilal Haji Yusuf, bilal Masjid Raja.
