Administrative / Biographical History

The Davies and Chambre families owned Tryly Vach and Nawmor farms, Llantilio Pertholey, Monmouthshire, and property in Partrishow, Brecknockshire, in the later 18th century. Frederick Samuel Secretan (who adopted the additional names James Woodhouse, d. c. 1836) owned Arcadia House, Llantilio Pertholey, and the manor of Triley, Monmouthshire. Captain Walker of the Royal Artillery died [c. 1865].
