Scope and Content

Certifying that the late John Warth held one acre of land at Horseload in the manor of Tindalls and Lyles, Chatteris, acquired in 1755 on the death of his father John Warth (Doc 1709), and a further acre of land in Congreve, acquired in 1752 on the surrender of Thomas Bowles (Doc 1708). His son and heir, George Warth, a minor aged about twelve years, now petitions for and is admitted tenant in the same, under the guardianship of Daniel Fryer. Copy of court roll, examined by Thomas Lombe gent, steward; Matthew Robinson esq and Matthew Robinson Morris esq being lords of the manor, duty stamps.
