Administrative / Biographical History
The building of the Tywyn and District War Memorial Cottage Hospital, Tywyn, Merionethshire, was planned in 1919. The Joint-War Committee of the British Red Cross Society and The Order of St John contributed a grant towards the buildings. The hospital remained active until 1967.
