A small collection of papers relating to Charles James Hanmer comprising a copy, c. 1876, of his Pamphlet descriptive of a work now preparing for the press criticising the works of the pretended Lord Hanmer; a printed letter, 1876, from C. J. Hanmer to the Right Hon. Viscount Hanmer, relating to his family claims, with copies of other letters, 1874 and 1883; the election address, 1868, of C. J. Hanmer, a candidate in the Flintshire Boroughs Constituency, endorsed with a pedigree of the Hanmer family of Brogyntyn (Porkington); together with painted coats of arms of members of the Hanmer family.
