Scope and Content

The material in the form of two letters written at Lincolns Inn, one to 'Gentlemen' which states that he has 'every disposition to support your laudable endeavours to institute a new association at Newark', and the other to Spottiswoode and Robertson mentioning 'alterations' and advising that Lady Baird be 'guided by her Scotch Counsel'.
