Administrative / Biographical History
The great grandfather of the donor farmed at Manor Farm, Horton from about 1819. His grandfather continued the tenancy and also acquired Manor Farm, Yeoveney. After 1870 the farm became a large market garden concern.
Manor Farm, Horton 294 acres; Manor Farm Yeoveney 420 acres; gravel soils; Moor Farm Yeoveney 285 acres. Tenants in part to Maj. Gen. Owen Williams
