Administrative / Biographical History
Rev. John Hughes, also known as y Gof Bach, was a minister of the Congregationalist churches of Bodedern, Llanfachreth and Llanfair-yn-neubwll, Anglesey in the mid 19th century. He was born in 1816 and as a young child witnessed the beginnings of the Congregationalist cause in the Bodedern area. He lived in Ty Mawr, Llanynghenedl, Anglesey.
Arrangement
The collection has been incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts, arranged according to record type and chronologically.
