Administrative / Biographical History

Eluned Garmon Jones, ne Clunes Lloyd was Tutor and Internal Examiner at the Department of Modern History at the University of Liverpool. She was the only daughter of Sir John Lloyd, Professor of History at the University of Wales, Bangor. She married William Garmon Jones, who was Professor of History and later University Librarian at Liverpool. Eluned Garmon Jones was held in high esteem in Bangor as a scholar and historian of local history. She died on the 4th March 1979.
