Counterpart of Doc 157. John Sygore of Writele grants to John Borell of Writele, William Wakeryng, chaplain, John Bedell son of William Bedell of Writele, William Parker, William Page and Robert Parker, son of William Parker, of the same certain lands in Writtle, part of which he had with Benedict Sygore and John Fryday Fullere from the gift of John Sygore his father and Isabella his mother, part from the grant of William Trotte, part from the gift of Thomas Cryour, part with William Sygore his brother, Nicholas Haywarde and Walter Tryppe, who released it to him, from the grant of William Spryngefeld and John Harry, to them and their heirs for ever; provided that if John Borell pays to John Sygore a certain sum by instalments on certain dates the grant remains valid; if he should fail in such payments, John Sygore is to re-enter upon the land. Witnesses: William Bedell, Nicholas Hayward, Stephen Coope, John Turnor, Robert Peese, John Samone junior, Stephen Webbe, John Stanby, Roger Yuge. Four of the original six seals are attached.
