Glanrhyd Farm, Pembrey, Carmarthenshire, is located close to the site of the former RAF Pembrey airfield. Construction of Pembrey Airfield began in 1937 and was used as a base for a number of fighter squadrons during the Second World War. The airfield remained as an RAF base until its closure in 1957, and was sold in 1964.
