Scope and Content

A group of holograph letters:- four letters, 1883-91, from Geo. T. Clark, Dowlais House, Dowlais, etc., to [G. W. Tomlinson and A. S. Ellis?] (endorsed with a letter from G. W. Tomlinson to [A. S.] Ellis) (illustrations for G. T. Clark: Mediaeval Military Architecture in England (London, 1884), etc.); a letter, 1901, from F. S. Coleman, The Rectory, Barwick-in-Elmet, Leeds, to [A. S.] Ellis (the writer's archaeological studies); and a letter, 1903, from W. H. St. John Hope, Society of Antiquaries of London, to [A. S. Ellis] (requesting plans of Richmond Castle and Chepstow Castle).
