The collection includes: notes; draft typescripts and research publications; marketing material; research reports, protocols and technical standards; loose photographs and photograph albums; address book, workshop notebook and log books; technical notes and drawings including for laparoscopic applicator for Filshie clip; business plans and documents; notes and agreements about a legal case Donn Casey v. Femcare, 1991-1992; travel plans and documents for a trip to India, 1988; one mini-audiocassette labelled 'STERICLIP TOP & BTM JAW'; a small amount of autobiographical material; one clinical note book and patient card; one account book covering the period 1990-1997; folder of research and model for 'DSC' machine; a small amount of correspondence; mock clip samples including Filshie clip and two Stericlips for occluding fallopian tubes Lot 28 Jul 2000; and eight volumes of the Bibliography of Reproduction published by Casey's company, Reproduction Research Information Service.

Family papers remain with the donor for potential transfer to a repository in Australia as Donn Casey was the son of Lord Casey (1890-1976), Australian statesman who served as Governor General of Australia (1965-1969). Lord Casey's personal papers are held at the National Library of Australia.
