Administrative / Biographical History
The Belle Vue estate, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, was centred on the house called Merlins Villa, later known as Merlins Glen, and now known as The Glen. Thomas Rule Owen (1833-1921), of Haverfordwest, was a land agent and one of the trustees of the will of John McEwan of Belle Vue Cottage. He later purchased Merlins Glen, in 1883. He was married to Mary Louisa Mossop of Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.
