Scope and Content

A commonplace book, 1810-1859, of Mary Evans [? Llanfynydd, Carmarthenshire] containing scriptural arguments supporting Unitarian doctrines and refuting various aspects of orthodox Christianity; with sermons, hymns, and religious and other verse. Also included is an account of the death of Thomas Evans, Pen-y-garn, Llanfynydd, Carmarthenshire, 9 December 1833 (ff. 63-5 verso).
