Scope and Content

Correspondence of Harold Francis with the RCOG Librarian in response to receiving copies of the autobiography of William Blair-Bell by Sir John Peel, together with his volumes on the 'Lives of the Fellows of the RCOG 1929-1969' including his comments on 'inaccuracies' found in both volumes relating to the life and career of Professor Blair-Bell, together with anecdotal tales about Blair-Bell obtained from contemporaries.

Administrative / Biographical History

Sent to the College Library by Harold Francis in 1994 and later passed to the College Archives.
