Scope and Content

Pen and pencil sketches by Judith Kerr of animals and children, some of which are photocopies. The sketches have all been cut or photocopied from sketchbooks and surface-mounted in groups on large sheets of paper. The file includes a sheet of photocopied sketches of monkeys used as preparation for 'How Mrs Monkey Missed the Ark'; a sheet of photocopied sketches of geese used as preparation for 'The Other Goose'; and a sheet of original pencil sketches of dogs used as preparation for 'Mog and Barnaby'.

Arrangement

The sketches in this file were separate, at the time of deposit, from the artwork in series JK/03 Published work, so this division has been maintained even though there is some overlap between the contents of this file and some of the files in series JK/03.
