Administrative / Biographical History
The Howell family lived in Cosheston, Pembrokeshire and were involved in the timber industry. Florence Howell (1869-1946) wrote poetry and short stories with her sister, Daisy (1864-1904). In later life, Florence concentrated on writing plays in Pembrokeshire dialect, including Jane Wogan, Castle Garth and A Woman of Compassion.
