Scope and Content

Mixed title deeds, principally relating to various properties in Devon, Essex, Shropshire and Marylebone, London, also referring to Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Suffolk. The majority are conveyances and bonds to sell property, there are also some copy wills and marriage settlements. The collection also includes a copy proclamation of William and Mary to the people of Dublin relating to raising a militia, a 16th reconnaissance of land in St Malo and a letter from John Cam Hobhouse, written from Newgate and asking for support in an election.
