Administrative / Biographical History
Evan Owen (d. 1944) of Caernarfon, Caernarfonshire, and Liverpool, Lancashire, was a confectioner. He was the son of Owen Owen (d. 1916), farmer, of yr Aden, Caernarfon, and Mary Owen ([1845]-1898). His siblings included William John Owen (fl. 1891-1963) and Jane Mary Owen. Evan married Ellen Owen (d. 1954), daughter of John Owen (d. c. 1923), a slate manufacturer and farmer. Evan and Ellen had two daughters, Jennie and Dilys.
