Administrative / Biographical History

The Girl Guides Association was formed by Robert Baden-Powell in 1910 as a female counterpart to the Boy Scouts Movement. The organisation was divided into Local Associations and companies. The 1st Milford Haven Girl Guide Company in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, was formed in about 1919.
