Scope and Content

(1) 2 copies of an indenture by which F.C. Trench Gascoigne and F.R.T. Trench Gascoigne lease Manor Farm, Garforth, for 30 years to the County Councils of the West and East Ridings of Yorkshire and the Joint Committee for Instruction in Agriculture, 15 December 1898; (2) Copy of an agreement between the same parties for a 99 year lease for building on the land at Garforth, 15 September 1899; (3) Copy of an agreement between F.R.T. Trench Gascoigne and the other parties for a 10 year lease of water rights on the land at Garforth, 1906; (4) 2 plans of Manor Farm, Garforth, undated; (5) Plan of land at Askham Bryan, showing Westfield House and Askham Fields, drawn by H.T. Tate, county land agent, Beverley, November 1925.
